CEDIM presents itself on the open day at KIT

Within the science festival „Effekte 2017“, Campus Nord of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) opens its gates due to an open day.

On Saturday, the 24^th of June 2017, great weather attracted a large number of visitors to our stand, which we organized together with the KIT Climate and Environment Center and the Süddeutsche Klimabüro. Untiringly and till late in the evening the functioning and strategy of CEDIM concerning the fast interdisciplinary analysis of natural disasters has been explained to the interested audience. Countless informative posters from several at CEDIM involved institutes as well as exciting experiments like a tornado inside a water glass or an earthquake table completed the offering.
